What is Kinesio Taping?  Kinesio Taping gives support and stability to your joints and muscles without affecting your range of movement. It is also used for pain management, edema (swelling) and preventive maintenance.

Kinesio Tape is waterproof and was designed to be worn on the skin for extended periods of time (3-5 days) without irritation, including during strenuous exercise. It is a non-restrictive type of taping that allows for full range of motion. It is not a fixation tape like most traditional tapes. Kinesio Tape does not contain any medical ingredients. Instead, it works when its unique pattern activates the neurological, muscular and circulatory systems. By choosing the appropriate tension and direction of the tape as well as the best position and structures over which to apply it, Kinesio Tape can be very effective in managing a condition between visits and helping you to achieve your desired health goal.

Kinesio taping has proven effective in both acute and chronic conditions. Neck and low back pain, shoulder injuries, ankle sprains, tendon problems and postural correction are just a few of the many conditions that can be treated using Kinesio tape. Curious if Kinesio tape can be of benefit to you? Just ask!  For more information, visit the Kinesio Taping website
